Super Schools

UK used car supermarket group The Car Shop in Cardiff proudly announces its partnership with Super Schools. Super Schools is a national initiative which aims to encourage school children to partake in sporting activities.

They do this by visiting schools for half a day and taking along a sporting celebrity who gives a thirty-minute talk which aims to inspire school children into taking up a sport. The children also take part in a number of fun exercises and will have the opportunity to have their picture taken alongside the sporting personality.

Throughout 2009 Super Schools will visit schools throughout the UK with the aim of promoting the benefits of exercise.

Rick Wilson, Operations Manager at The Car Shop Cardiff says, “We are really excited about being involved with the Super Schools project.   It gives us the platform to strengthen our links with the community and to encourage our youngsters to take part in activities as well as watching them”.

The Car Shop views its partnership with Super Schools as vital in terms of getting kids motivated to exercise, and hopes that other businesses will be encouraged to become partners, after all Super Schools are providing a great service to local communities.
