Alfa Romeo Brera Review
Behind the wheel an Alfa Romeo Brera is a joy, with precise, well weighted-steering, composed handling and a surprisingly comfortable ride, all accompanied by a satisfyingly sporty engine note. The four wheel drive on the V6 models means you can count on secure acceleration on even the greasiest roads.
The cabin itself is well crafted using quality materials, with the panoramic glass roof giving it an airy feel. Steering wheel and seat adjustment ensures a comfortable drive for all but the tallest drivers but space in the back is very limited, making the Brera more of a 2+2 than a genuine four-seater. The boot provides an impressive 300 litres of space, although the high lip makes loading a struggle.
In a used Alfa Romeo Brera you also get the frills with the thrills. Standard equipment includes climate control, a CD player, cruise control, remote central locking, leather upholstery and 17-inch alloy wheels. It’s also worth remembering that the Brera is based on the Alfa 159, which scored a five star safety rating in Euro NCAP tests.
