Citroen C3 Review
A used Citroen C3 from The Car Shop Megastore offers individual styling, a fun drive and perky performance.
You can choose from a 60bhp 1.1 petrol which is really only suited to town driving, the smooth 1.4 and 1.6 litre petrol engines offer more flexibility for longer drives. The nippy 1.4 litre turbodiesel also offers excellent economy, returning almost 70mpg.
A Citroen C3 offers a refined drive, with road and engine noise kept to a minimum and the suspension revisions in 2005 making the ride more absorbent. However it could do with better grip and steering feel, and the soft ride can lead to excessive body roll through bends.
Inside, a Citroen C3 offers ample headroom thanks to the dome-shaped roof although legroom is cramped in the back compared to many rivals. The high driving position can make it feel a bit like an MPV from behind the wheel, but height and reach adjustment on the steering means most people should be able to get comfortable. The boot is quite small but the 60/40 split rear seat allows some extra practicality.
Every model has electric front windows and remote central locking as standard, and all but the base models offer a CD player, electric door mirrors and air conditioning.
