Citroen C8 Review

The C8's 2.0-litre petrol engine offers decent performance but has to be worked hard to achieve the best performance. In contrast, the potent 134bhp 2.0 diesel offers much more flexibility in town or out. The 2.0 118bhp turbodiesel offers a cost-effective alternative.
A Citroen C8 handles surprisingly well for a large MPV, the well weighted steering and firm suspension making it light and easy to drive especially when cruising. However, the firm ride can make it a little rough on uneven roads at low speeds. Road and wind noise are well suppressed and the engine are particularly smooth even at high revs.
The versatile interior is well thought out and practical. The driver can adjust both the steering and their seat to achieve the ideal position, although the centrally mounted instruments may take some getting used to. The electric sliding doors offer superb rear access for up to six passengers even in the most cramped parking spaces. Remove some of the second and third rows of seats and you’ll have a cavernous 2,948 litres of load space.
Every C8 is equipped with power steering, remote central locking, electric front windows and mirrors and a CD player. Most also benefit from electric rear sliding doors.
