Ford Fusion Review
If you’re looking for a used Ford Fusion, The Car Shop Megastore can help. You can choose from 1.4 or 1.6 litre petrol and 1.4 or 1.6 diesel engines – the 1.4 petrol giving the added option of Ford’s Durashift automatic gearbox.
Since the Fusion is based on the Fiesta it handles better than many superminis, but the increase in ride height and tall body mean there’s more lean through bends. It also creates more wind noise, making the Ford Fusion less refined at speed.
On the other hand, the higher driving position makes getting in and out easy and the large glass area provides an excellent view for driving and parking. Like the Fiesta there's plenty of space for four adults and the boot is bigger and easier to load, with split rear seats providing extra room for awkward loads.
You can get a used Ford Fusion offering a range of trim levels, with CD player and electric front windows standard on basic models and with later models adding features such as a trip computer, air-conditioning, a six-CD multichanger and driver's seat-height adjustment. The recent face-lift introduced even more options including climate control and satellite navigation.
