Jaguar XK-Type Review
The latest XK-Series rides like a grand tourer, drives like a sports car and looks terrific, whether you choose a used Jaguar XK Coupe or a used Jaguar XK Convertible from The Car Shop Megastore.
You can take your pick of either a 300bhp 4.2-litre V8 or a 420bhp supercharged XKR version. Whichever model you settle on, you’ll benefit from a smooth 6-speed automatic box with a choice of three settings. Both models offer effortless performance, superb handling and a refined ride, although the XKR feels a little firmer.
Climb inside a used Jaguar XK and the electrically adjustable front seats will ensure you feel comfortable and in control. The same cannot be said for the rear seats, which are best used for additional luggage. The boot itself is generous, even in the convertible version.
A Jaguar XK isn’t cheap, and the standard equipment reflects this. Leather upholstery, CD multichanger, dual-zone climate control and stability control all come as standard. The XKR additionally features active suspension and metal interior trim.
