Keeping Ahead of the Servicing Game

CarShop Northampton invests heavily in its Service Centre to stay up-to-date with vehicle requirements.

Back in October 2012 CarShop Northampton diversified from its traditional offering of being a used car retailer, and launched the first CarShop Service Centre. Since opening, the centre - offering MOTs, servicing and warranty work - has gone from strength to strength. Combining a wealth a servicing expertise with customer-beneficial promotions, including £24.99 MOTs, it has consistently performed well and delivered in all areas. As a result of this, CarShop has decided to invest heavily; updating the equipment to ensure that targeted cost and time efficiencies can be achieved, providing customers with the best possible service experience.

The most significant aspect of the investment was the introduction of a brand new automated test lane (ATL) MOT bay. This state-of-the-art technology has allowed the retailer to dramatically reduce the length of time taken to carry out an MOT, resulting in reduced waiting times for customers.

Chris Delaney, CarShop Northampton Operations Manager, commented: “I am delighted at the job my Service Centre team have done, from the launch right through until today.
