As a result of a tremendous amount of change throughout 2014, CarShop scored by being certified “highly commended” in not one but two of the award categories, held at the award ceremony in London last night.
The awards, taking place at The Brewery and sponsored by Black Horse, drew together some of the biggest, boldest and best in the automotive industry. And Car Dealer Magazine certainly knew how to throw a celebration for all the shortlisted dealers.
According to Car Dealer Magazine nominations this year were scrutinised harder than ever before, due to the fantastic amount of change within the industry, and the fierce competition in all award categories; stating:
“In many categories, some dealers who finished in fifth place last night were so good that a year ago their score would have been good enough to win.”
Team CarShop, led by CEO Jonathan Dunkley, were in high spirits at the awards due to being shortlisted in both the Used Car Dealer Group of the Year and Dealer Used Car Website of the Year categories. In both CarShop achieved the “highly commended” status solidifying all the work that had been done.
Over the past year CarShop has notched up several great success stories, notably the refinement of the customer journey through use of innovative in-store technology, and the launch of the fully responsive website. Both have contributed to a very successful year and CarShop are delighted that the awards recognised this.
