Swindon Goes All Clickety Click To Celebrate New Plate Launch

Swindon will be overwhelmed with car dealerships this weekend as they take over the town centre to mark the arrival of the new 66-registration plate launching 1st September.

Weekend visitors to the town centre will be able to get up sneak previews of the latest ranges that the likes of BMW, Ford, Vauxhall, and other brands have recently released. It also gives a chance for potential buyers to even get a chance to book test drives, and take the latest models for a ride.

MG will also be taking to the streets by providing a stand with two of their models, the very fun and funky MG3 and the latest MG-GS, MG’s first SUV that has recently been added to the MG fleet.

Each manufacturer will be showcasing two models along with fresh features and options by their individual areas that will be set up along Canal Walk, as well as along The Parade and Regent Street. (Please see map at bottom of page)

A special feature to the weekend has been added for the visitors; as throughout the weekend each visitor will be given a Route 66 card. If each visitor goes around to every dealer at the event and collects a stamp, they will then be in with a chance to win £500 Love2Shop vouchers.

As well as the cars being the main attraction, there will also be fun and games for the younger ones throughout the weekend with face painting, and arts and crafts. Overall, there will be plenty of activity to keep everyone in the family entertained.

The event begins at 9.30am Saturday 13th August running until 5pm, and will then restart on Sunday August 14th at 10am until 3.30pm.
