To commemorate its 111th anniversary, Ford has released a short video that shows 24 hours in its production lines.
It is a brand that has long been known for making the ideal economy car for most types of driver and on June 16th, Ford was able to celebrate its 111th birthday.
To mark the occasion, Ford has released a video that shows 24 hours of production of its cars in 130 countries across five continents around the world. Showing respect for the employees that keep Ford's wheels turning, its 183,000 members of staff received acknowledgement in the video.
The film contains a range of shots that show off auto parts and auto bodies as they make their way down the assembly lines as well as the robotic arms that are responsible for putting together 17,000 Ford vehicles across the globe on a day to day basis.
There are sped up scenes of employees toiling in manufacturing plants to get the cars up to the standards needed to go on sale and shots of the spray painting process, giving Ford cars their own character. The range of paint jobs that can be gained for Ford cars show a lot of evolution from the time when the company's founder, Henry Ford, stated "any customer can have a car painted in any colour that he wants so long as it is black."
As well as the manufacturing prowess that goes in during the day to day life of Ford plants, there are also a whole host of shots of some of the locations across the globe in which these factories are located.
At Car Shop, there are a wide range of used Ford cars to suit most drivers' needs. There are its superminis such as the KA and, Britain's favourite car, the Fiesta. For those who want a car with a slightly more executive feel, there is the Mondeo. There is also a wide selection available for those who need to cart their family about, including the Galaxy, the C-Max and the Focus.
