We’ve got a list of some of the best cars for driving in the snow available at CarShop, from the budget friendly to something a little more premium. You’ll see that the running theme with a lot of these is the 4 wheel drive ability!
Dacia Duster 4x4
If you’re looking to stretch your pennies to a capable 4x4, then the Dacia Duster 4x4 will tick the boxes.
It is one of the most affordable SUV 4x4 crosses on the market, but it can still take on the snow with confidence.
You get a lot of space to enjoy inside, with decent leg room and head room in the front and back. And you’ll be pleased with the boot space too.
Some models have 445 litres of boot space with the back seats up, and around 1,623 litres with the seats down, so you can load up all the luggage without a worry.

It’s worth mentioning that the Panda 4x4 is a little more compact compared to the other cars on the list. This means that you will have to compromise slightly with boot space. Some models have around 225 litres of boot space with the seats up which increases to 870 litres with the seats down.
Mini Countryman ALL4
The clue is in the name – Countryman – it’s ready to take on all sorts of terrain, and with ALL 4 (all-wheel drive) it can handle the snow too.
