Birmingham’s ICC recently celebrated the Motor Trade’s finest, celebrating success of industry leaders at the annual AM Awards. Hosted by Steph McGovern, part of the BBC Breakfast Team, the evening was hailed as a tremendous success and applauded by all.
CarShop attended after being nominated in three award categories – Best Dealer Website, Best Use of Social Media and Best Training and Development Programme. On the night there was a whole host of awards, but it was the “Best Dealer Website” which had the CarShop crowd up off their seats, taking the top spot. As part of the ongoing evolution and development of the digital experience, CarShop was ‘thrilled’ by the recognition.
Upon receipt of the award CarShop Marketing & IT Director, Leo Nelson, commented,
“Winning this award means so much to us as our website is entirely designed and developed in-house. We’re extremely proud of it and, because we’ve invested heavily the team, the site provides us with the ultimate flexibility to continually evolve to better meet consumers’ needs. Taking a mobile-first approach, we have greatly enhanced the user experience over the past year, adding a number of significant features including the ability to apply for finance.
We have an extremely exciting digital development strategy as part of our mission to lead the evolution of the automotive marketplace, and we’re determined to keep delighting our customers throughout every step of the journey.”
This award is CarShop’s latest accolade, following-on from a win at the Car Dealer Awards towards the back end of 2016, where the retailer claimed the Best Used Car Supermarket Award for the second year running.
