News: Our new interactive tool gives customers a free vehicle health check

We’re delighted to announce the launch of our brand new Vehicle Health Check Tool that keeps you in the driver's seat when it comes to your car.

Our new Vehicle Health Check Tool revolutionises MOT and servicing here at CarShop. When you bring your car in for servicing, we’ll make a personalised video that shows you footage of the areas in your car that need attention.

Our technician will give you a video tour of your vehicle, and will show you anything that doesn’t look quite right - so you can see for yourself if you need a repair or replacement in your vehicle. They’ll explain to you what the issue is, and what needs to be done to sort it out.

Your video will then be sent to you by email or text, along with the suggested repairs, replacements or general maintenance and their cost in an interactive list. The suggestions will even be colour coded in a traffic light system, so you’ll be able to see what we think needs work urgently and what we think just needs to be monitored for a while.

You can accept or decline each suggestion just by selecting them - it really is as simple as that. Once you’ve decided what work, if any, that you’re going ahead with, our technicians will go ahead with the jobs you’ve accepted.

We’re hoping our new way of servicing will give drivers a chance to understand their vehicles more and give them ultimate control of all the decisions when it comes to their vehicle. We hope we’re helping all of our customers learn about their cars, make more informed decisions and feel as though our work is transparent and trustworthy.

We’re rolling this new tool out in all of our stores - so watch this space and book in if you fancy getting your hands on your own, personalised free video Vehicle Health Check!
