At CarShop, we’re proud of the fact that our showrooms make it as easy and convenient as possible for our customers to browse our fantastic selection of used cars.

This got us to thinking about how important the showroom experience is when it comes to buying a car. So, with this in mind, we thought we’d take a look at just some of the craziest, most innovative and unique car showrooms in the world, the perfect destinations for any petrol head!

Alain Class Motors, Dubai

Alain Class Motors was always going to be top of this list. This is the showroom that Top Gear voted the best in the world too.

Dubai is well-known for its luxurious lifestyles, and the rarest supercars around are stacked to the rafters at this 10,000 square foot showroom on the Sheikh Zayed Road.

With another four outlets (which are slightly more modest) elsewhere in the United Arab Emirates too, owner Abdullah Al Ketbi claims he can find you any car you can think of.

Infiniti, Reading

The Infiniti showroom in Reading showcases Nissan’s most luxurious models, and this especially chic sales centre incorporates elements you’d usually expect to see in a stylish boutique hotel. Including original art pieces on the wall and furniture created by acclaimed designer Walter Knoll, many car buyers must never want to leave!

The Glass Towers at Autostadt, Wolfsburg

One of the most popular attractions at Volkswagen’s theme park, Autostadt, is the two 20-storey glass towers. In these towers, there are 800 newly built cars awaiting delivery. Each vehicle is transported here directly from the manufacturing plant by an underground conveyor belt and then moved into its designated space by a large robotic arm.

Penske Wynn Ferrari Maserati, Las Vegas

Just like everything else in Vegas, the Penske Wynn Ferrari Maserati is big, brash and dripping in ostentatious wealth. Extra special supercars are displayed on rotating plinths, and the other cars on display are surrounded by velvet ropes for that extra exclusive feel.

Audi dealership, West London

The world’s largest Audi centre was designed by respected architect Wilkinson Eyre. The 190,000 square foot, seven-storey high glass and metal structure offers enough room for 117 showroom vehicles, and the foyer features a huge aluminium structure by artist Gerry Judah which weighs nearly a ton and took two days to install.

Ferrari Maserati, Florida

Just a short drive from Palm Beach, this impressive showroom stocks a huge selection of new and used Ferraris and Maseratis. Transparent panels on the second floor allow you to look down on the cars below, so you can browse two lots of cars at once – perfect for the multi-millionaire with very little time on his hands!

Mercedes-Benz sale centre, Stuttgart

Adjacent to the popular Mercedes-Benz Museum is an equally impressive building that acts as a flagship sale centre. This state-of-the-art showroom continues the museum experience by displaying the cars just like precious pieces of art.

The Hessing Showroom, Utrecht

This incredible curved building (also known as ‘The Cockpit’) acts as a sound barrier as well as a showroom, cleverly stopping traffic noise from the A2 from infiltrating the nearby residential area and also providing drivers with a perfect view of the Bentleys and Lamborghinis on display.

Citroen flagship showroom, Paris

Although the front of this showroom is just 25m wide, it makes up for it with towering height. Inside there are 7 platforms rotating as you go up the floors, each sporting an iconic Citroen design through the years.
