Whether you have a growing family, love to travel or just seem to have to move around bulky stuff every weekend, the chances are you need a car with a big boot!

Here are 7 cars available at CarShop which have big and roomy boots:

Peugeot 308 SW (estate): 660L

The Peugeot 308 SW has boot space that rivals even larger cars such as the Ford Mondeo Estate (with the newest model having 525L) and since it’s a smaller car, some people may find it easier to drive.

Along with great boot space, the 308 SW has loads of leg room and comes with an impressive range of gadgets which includes SatNav, DAB radio and Bluetooth.

If you fold the rear seats down, you’ll get a whopping 1775L and you even get a handy compartment to store away the parcel shelf.

Land Rover Freelander: 755L

Although the Freelander is perhaps not as desirable compared with the Range Rover Evoque, the Freelander can boast better practicality. Its 755L boot is a massive 200L more than the Evoque!

Plus, the Freelander is designed for more rugged terrain and therefore makes for a cracking car to go adventuring with the dogs at the weekend.

Skoda Octavia estate: 610L

The Octavia and VW Passat have the same engine under the bonnet, but the Octavia is better value for money in terms of features and has a slightly bigger boot as well.

A “hot” version of the Octavia in the form of the vRS is also available, which you can get with either a 184bhp 2.0l turbo diesel engine, or 217bhp 2.0l turbo petrol engine. This means that you can get something with the power of a hot hatch along with the practicality of a family car!

Volvo XC60: 635L

If safety is your priority, look no further than the Volvo XC60. You get plenty of tech to keep your drive entertained and easy along with a spacious 635L boot.

If you are into your comfort tech, then keep an eye out for models with the Winter Pack option. This gives you the added benefits of a heated windscreen, heated seats and headlamp washers.

Honda Civic Tourer: 624L

If 624L wasn’t impressive enough in terms of boot room, Honda’s “Magic Seats” allow a simple switch operation to fold down the rear seats to give a total volume of 1,668 litres.

Not only that, the Civic Tourer also has a handy underfloor storage compartment in the boot.

Citroen C4 Grand Picasso: 793L

The 7-seater Citroen C4 Grand Picasso has a 793L boot when the 2 seats at the rear aren’t up which makes this people carrier spacious and practical. But keep in mind if you have all 7 seats in place then it will go down to 165L.

The latest model is definitely a lot more stylish, and it was even rated 5 stars by EuroNCAP for its safety!

As an added benefit for bigger families, the Citroen C4 Grand Picasso is one of only a handful of cars that has ISOFIX in the middle rear seat.

Vauxhall Zafira Tourer: 710L

The new Vauxhall Zafira is definitely more stylish than the previous generation and it also has more room in the boot. It has 710L compared to the 645L of the old model.

You can choose from a variety of engines including a 1.4 litre turbocharged petrol engine which can produce 140bhp! Not bad for a family run-around.

The Zafira has recently undergone a facelift, which means that higher spec models come equipped with cruise control, touch screen infotainment system and heated seats.
